Dynamics in Logistics - Basics for Multidisciplinary Approaches (04-M10-L-PT50)

During the summer term 2015 the course Dynamics in Logistics - Basics for Multidisciplinary Approaches will be offered. The course is intended for all master students Wirtschaftsingenieurwesen in the teaching project module.
 
Description of the course:
 
Each participant does, along with a supervisor, a research project. The project should fit the topic and needs to be completed within the specified period. The project is evaluated based on the project handling, a presentation on the findings as well as a written final report. There will be discussions with the respective supervisor regularly. Forum for the presentation is the Interdisciplinary Research Colloquium of the IGS, which will be held every Thursday morning.

Implementation of Logistics Scenarios in a Discrete Simulation (04-M10-L-PT65)

During the summer term 2015 and winter term 2015/2016 the course Implementation of Logistics Scenarios in a Discrete Simulation will be offered. The course is intended for all master students Wirtschaftsingenieurwesen in the teaching project module.
 
Description of the course:
 
In this teaching project separated groups should design, implement and evaluate logistic scenarios. In this project the basics about discrete simulation are taught based on the concept of the particular scenario.
The implementation will be executed with the help of the discrete eventsimulator framework adevs in C++ and Qt. Furthermore, methods from stochastics and statistical analysis are used to analyze and evaluate the simulation results.
